Fun lunch tomorrow! PJ day Thursday Class party on Friday Homework: Read for 20 minutes and summarize what you read to your parents In gym today, we danced to just dance! Our favorite song was "What Makes You Beautiful!" In writing, we worked in our journals to create a rough copy of a letter. We wrote a persuasive letter to Santa, telling him three reasons why he should pick us to be an elf at the North Pole. A persuasive letter is where you are trying to convince someone to do something. -Bridget We worked a little bit on our gingerbread math projects before lunch as well -Kallie In the afternoon, we had our DEAR time and then spent some time editing our rough copies of our letters before working on our good copies. We will be framing our letters with an elf body and a picture of our head :) Bell rang- we might have forgot something! Have a great night everyone :) FYI:

What year does your story take place? -Rhiannon In math, we started a gingerbread house project. We have $5.00 to spend on candy!! -Bridget After lunch, we went to an assembly for our first caroling session! We were met by the whole school and the grade 5/6s put on a performance of the cup song. It sounds like they stayed up all night playing together and with their special friends, Magic and Gregory. So, by the time we got to school, they were so tired that they had made a bed out of kleenex boxes and used kleenex to cover up, as a pillow and to cover their eyes. Next, we did some silent reading for morning work and then had a few more volunteers come up to get feedback on their portrait. After we were finished, we used the computers for about 25 minutes to complete some more research on the computers. After our recess activities, we read a chapter in Wonder and then went to math groups.
