We got through 2 more Peru centers today! Ask me what I learned about in my centers :) We set our our Harry Potter pages in our visual journals today! It took longer than expected but they look amazing! Some of us were able to work on our Anger page or any other "not done" work. We had a circle! We examined some Peruvian artifacts from a kit that we are using from the Glenbow museum. We talked about City Hall School that is coming up and talked about some of the different journalling techniques we have been using to help us to prepare for our week away (such as see/think/wonder/sketch, CSI, adventure mapping, looking at shapes, and standing to journal. Today we talked about looking at shapes while sketching before looking at the small details. We practiced 30 second, 1 minute and 2 minute sketches of the same Peruvian artifact. In PE, we used our dribbling skills to play a game of capture the chicken while dribbling a basketball. After PE we had science where we practiced our builds of pillars with Ms. Lauf :)
