Homework: Read for 20 minutes
Feb. 22nd: Wear red & white to support the Canadians at the Olympics Feb. 26th- Teachings from Elder Shirley Hill Feb. 28th- Pink Shirt Day Highlights from our day: We started our day in music- ask me what we did today! After music, we had two science experiments in hearing and sound- one that asked students to create a string instrument from kleenex boxes and different sized elastics and had them think about pitch and volume. The second experiment had the students using tin-can telephones! We finished our robot guided drawing. We were able to go outside at recess but lots of us stayed in to draw Captain Underpants. We had library today! After lunch we had DEAR time and then had a goodbye circle for Jack :( Sadly, today was his last day before he moves back to B.C. We had PE today- ask me what we did! After PE, we had a compare and contrast activity using pictures from the four global communities. We also spent some time on our water art :)
