We have been continuing our work with multiplication and division with some different games We have been working on looking at fractions and what they mean: where do we see them? Why are they important? How do we know what they mean? What does the line mean? We started creating fraction kits today and looked at finding ways to make a whole using 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/3 & 1/6 We listened to a legend called The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses and created an adventure map to share what we learned. We have been doing some book looks to find out interesting facts on India and taking some notes in our visual journals. We also started a video looking at some different schools in India. We are working on a Venn diagram to share some things we notice that are different and the same about schools in Canada. We have selected an animal that we are interested in and have started to look at it's habitat, characteristics, life cycles among other categories. We have continued with our novel study. We have had music! We are working on our stories and finishing up our Google Docs! PS I need to bring in a small rock (about the size of a toonie)!!
