It looks like our Friday blog posted did not post but the important news from that blog was...
Alexis was named student of the week! Thank you Alexis for caring so much about our classroom and always offering to help wherever you can! She also is always on task and has a wonderful growth mindset in our learning. FYI Fun lunches: May 10th and 31st (Extreme Pita and Opa) Scientist in the classroom: May 12th (am) PD No School: May 19th Victoria Day- No School: May 22nd Volunteer Tea: May 26th Today we started our first Bocci Ball lesson in PE and it was SO much fun! We also started some buddy research on the types of energy in AB (gr. 4) and looked into some of the public services available in the global communities (gr. 3) in our visual journals using concept mapping. We spent a bit of time on 10 monkeys today and 15 minutes on Duolingo before working on our story writing projects/research! In music, although a few students were a bit chatty, we had a student get the final belt (multi-colored) for recorders! Way to go Ray!! To end our day, we worked on an art project and we went outside to enjoy the weather and the outdoors for the last 15 minutes! Have a wonderful night everyone!
