Congratulations to Logan who was our student of the week! Logan has worked really hard this week to express himself appropriately and to ensure he is accepting feedback in a positive manner! Way to go Logan!!
FYI: Book orders will go home on Monday and will be due on Thursday Fun lunch on Wednesday What a fun Friday! We enjoyed our pajama day in grade 3/4 today and lots of students brought in really great stuffies! We have been working on using our peers as a resource to move our learning forward and we have practiced this through giving each other feedback. This morning, we watched a short video called "Austin's Butterfly" to help us understand how specific feedback allows us to really improve our work. Afterwards, we looked at the feedback (two stars and a wish) we provided to a peer and tried to use what we learned to change the feedback to be more specific and helpful for the writer. Afterwards, we used that feedback to re-write our story beginnings. Next, we completed recycling for the school, had a snack break and then used our time earned to watch some of the movie Home. This movie connected to the theme in our book Wonder, where an unlikely pair overlooked some differences to become friends. Finally, we met with our buddies and started our buddy portraits :) Have a great weekend everyone!! Go Flames Go!!
